PCHS Graduation time is upon us!

This has been a roller coaster year for our family. We went from me being down and sick to finally seeing the light of day and then the devil jumped on my daddy. But God  has been showing up and showing out. Daddy went from death's door and doctors telling us to prepare for the worst to the doctors sending him to rehab to get his strength and get ready to to come home and spoil his grand babies.
Director Oliver, Danie & Director Anthony
I have to brag on my Doodlebug a little while I am catching up. She has been blessed with a talent for the Tenor Sax and she made honor band for Jacksonville State University. We didn't get to take her because daddy wad still in ICU but we are so proud that in only ninth grade she has received such an honor. We will just try again next year, She was thrilled to be with us and see her Paw open his eyes for us for the first time.... Anyhow, She has been in three concerts with the Jazz band and she covets Director Anthony's horn, it is beautiful! :) Maybe the Lord will bless her with one like it one day, she plans on her talents getting her scholarships for college and we are trusting the Lord for that! Two of her "Big Brother's" at school are graduating this year ( have them photoed above) Ethan and Nick are best buds and they watch out for her, she says she feels honored to be playing for their graduation. I think it's awesome that she plays that well. She played at church for Brother Calvin, I told her to ask Brother Ashley if she could play at Mount Olive one day. That is after we get daddy out of Montgomery and back home so we can get back to church.

All curled up for awards day                                                                                                                                                  Our Danie loves getting all dolled up for things. She wanted her hair curly but they played for the awards ceremony as a pre program concert and she didn't get a chance to put on her dressy blouse on but she looked adorable none the less :)  She made the AB honor roll again this year. She is struggling a little with everything that has happened with her paw but I think she is pretty awesome for a kid with ADD to overcome it, not let it be a crutch and not only make the AB honor roll but she is taking honors classes.Gosh I sound like a proud momma huh. Well I am! I pray this finds everyone well and Loving each other but above all Loving the Lord and all He has to offer you. I hope to catch up a little more soon but until then may your be as blessed as we are. God is Good! Oh I added a little preview of their competition at Rehobeth where they received all superior ratings!
